In a cooperative environment It is utmost important that recruiting a proper person for the proper position in order to smooth development of a business.

Choosing the right employees can boost morale and organizational performance and can even give your company a strategic advantage. Choosing the wrong employees can make your workforce less productive, reduce quality, lower customer satisfaction and cost you more money (Donohoe, 2019)

1)    External recruitment

Selecting suitable candidates from outside the business.

This may course to have a diverse team of staff which will help to introduced fresh opinions & new talents to the business.

On the other hand well trained & knowledgeable candidates will reduce the initial training cost & give inventive & new ideas to the management which direct to sustainable growth of the business.

2)     Internal recruitment

Selecting suitable candidates from inside the business.

This strategy can save training time & they are very familiar with the culture of existing business. People already exist in the organization are well educated on company goals & what they expecting.

Selecting a proper person to the business

This is the most critical area in terms of recruiting an employee. Below list appears main aspects of selecting the most suitable person among the identified team.

a) Find the candidates aspiration which will suit with the business

b) Testing him / her well

c) Mixing them with existing business culture

Conclusion

An effective recruitment and selection process reduces turnover; we also get much better results in our recruitment process if we advertise specific criteria that are relevant to the job. Include all necessary skills, and include a list of desired skills that are not necessary but that would enhance the candidate's chances. If we fail to do this, we might end up with a low-quality pool of candidates and wind up with limited choices to fill the open position. (Johnston, 2017)

Choosing a proper candidate based on the interview, their background, history, & qualifications elaborated in the resume will be the best practice. In order to enhance the productivity & efficiency of the employer our decision should based on evidence we gathered rather that any gut instincts.

  6. This is the huge problem that every business facing nowadays. I mean when there selecting an employee for a position, they wouldn't follow the qualifications related to specific position or designation. It might be the reason to discourage of existing employees. In the present situation every business of government sector has been hunted from politicians orders. In my point of view employee selection should be independent.
    This blog shows clearly the important of the selection, what are the process can be follow. if management follow their own process independently they can select the accurate person to the position and existing employees doesn't discourage themselves.
